During Spring 2018, I developed a brand system for the SUNY New Paltz Graphic Design BFA thesis show. For the identity I was interested in exploring combining aesthetics of physical design with digital design. The bright, limited palette reflects more modern design choices, where the blackletter type and mimicking screenprinting in how the colors interact reference traditional design. Our degree was quite a healthy mixture of traditional (bookbinding and letterpress) and modern (UI/UX and digital fabrication), and I felt that this identity reflected that.
